Promo codes

Promo codes are for new customers: people who have not paid for a GetOnIt plan before. You can use one promo code per account, and a promo code cannot be combined with an invite discount from a friend. Each code says how many months are free, and may only work on some plans, until a set date, or for a limited number of people. Some codes belong to a GetOnIt partner and work the same way; the partner does not see who used them, only how far each sign-up has got. We may stop offering a code at any time; anyone already using it keeps their free months.

Enter the code on the signup form (or on the plan page). You then add a card at checkout, but you are not charged. Your first month starts on the day your eSIM goes live, and each free month runs from your monthly billing date, like a paid month. We send you a receipt for each free month showing £0.

Everything about your plan is the same as for a paying customer: the same allowances, the same fair use policy, and GetOnIt Club membership.

Partner share codes give you £5 off your first month. It comes off the price at checkout, you pay the rest by card, and from your next renewal your plan is charged at its normal price unless you cancel. The £5 has no cash value, applies once per person and cannot be combined with an invite discount from a friend. Everything else on this page about who can use a code, and fair play, applies to these codes too.

Some codes (including some older partner share codes) give you £5 of account credit instead of free months. You pay for your first month by card as normal at checkout. Once that payment has gone through, £5 is added to your account and comes off your next renewal, and from then your plan is charged at its normal price unless you cancel. If that first payment is refunded, the £5 is taken back. The £5 has no cash value, applies once per person and cannot be combined with an invite discount from a friend. You can still invite friends yourself (up to 3) and earn the separate invite credit for each. Everything else on this page about who can use a code, and fair play, applies to these codes too.

When your free months end, your plan continues on a normal prepaid monthly basis at the price of your plan at that time, charged to the card you added, on your monthly billing date. We email you a few days before the first payment. If you would rather not continue, cancel in your account before that date and you will not be charged; your line works until the end of your last free month.

If you change to a plan the code does not cover, the free months stop and the new plan is charged from the change. Free months have no cash value and cannot be transferred or exchanged.

Promo codes are for genuine new customers. We may refuse or cancel free months that come from creating several accounts or other misuse, and we will tell you if we do. Your right to cancel within 14 days, and everything else in our terms of service, still applies.
